Interactive Design Studio Debut
On November 17, 2016, California Closets debuted its first, standalone Design Studio in Denver, Colorado. Situated in the heart of Denver’s design community in Cherry Creek North, the new Design Studio features a contemporary and interactive environment where clients—including interior designers and their clients—can collaborate with California Closets’ design consultants to create custom organizational and installed furniture solutions for any area of the home.
In partnership with Colorado Homes & Lifestyles, California Closets hosted an intimate and festive cocktail reception, made even more memorable by Denver’s first snow of the season!

Conceptualized by noted architecture firm, Bergmeyer Associates, Inc., the state-of-the-art Design Studio features a noticeably smaller retail footprint than existing California Closets showrooms in Edwards and Lone Tree, but still offers the collaborative experience and design resources customers expect to find. Highlights include a floor-to-ceiling projection wall to present life-size, 3D CAD project renderings, sleek organizational systems showcasing quality construction and unique lighting design capabilities, a full-scale swatch wall of proprietary board finishes, as well as an extensive selection of decorative hardware and accent materials like back-painted glass and eco-friendly high gloss solid acrylic. Additionally, a over-sized touch-screen table inspires guests to explore hundreds of images of California Closets’ custom designs, providing a better visual understanding of the company’s organizational solutions throughout the home.
