What They Wanted

Upon returning to Del Mar after living in Michigan for business, the Denholm family found themselves right back where they had hoped to be. Their home was almost complete this past October but, before they moved in, David and Nicole wanted to add some special design touches to their shared master walk-in closet to create a sleek, modern space that they could both enjoy.

How we did it

To create the Denholms’ master closet, design consultant Kathy Bitter incorporated modern, clean lines with inviting textures. Using the Virtuoso Collection, combined with high-gloss backing, she was able to increase the amount of light reflecting into the master closet, making the very large space appear even bigger.

My favorite part of this project was creating the master closet my clients have always wanted. Sarah is a landscape designer with a great eye for detail, making it so fun to collaborate. Seeing the design finished made me emotional!

By blending special design touches unique to Del Mar with a modern closet system, this space was transformed into a functional oasis for the Denholms.
