Our showroom is gorgeous. It’s located in the historic Shogren building in the heart of the Central Eastside Design District of Portland. In addition to displaying the latest storage tools and accessories, the showroom gives you the opportunity to see our closet solutions as they appear in a real home. Visit the showroom for divine home inspiration, and be courteously assisted by one of our qualified showroom associates.
A Unified Team, With Years of Experience
Our franchise has been locally owned and operated since 1984. Before joining California Closets, Bob, our production manager, worked for a high-end cabinet company. Our designers combine years of experience in home building, remodeling, and interior design and sales. Laurie owned her own remodeling company and Mindy has a degree in interior design and over ten years of experience in that field. And Chris, our shop foreman, came all the way from Hawaii, where he gained firsthand experience in the closet industry.

A Local Business and Active Neighbor
All of our products are locally manufactured, in our 8,000 square foot production facility in Tualatin.
Additionally, we are involved in numerous non-profit organizations, providing our showroom for a variety of events as well as architect and interior designer meetings.
We’ve hosted fundraisers for MIKE Project, Itafari Program, and DonorsResource.org and continue to provide our showroom for charitable events. California Closets Portland welcomes non-profit organizations to inquire about the use of our venue for their fund-raising functions.

California Closets continues to stay abreast of current trends and new solutions for enhancing and maximizing our clients’ storage needs. We’ve participated in several home shows including the Better Living Show – a showcase for sustainable products & businesses, as well as the Build, Remodel & Landscape Show and the Portland Home & Garden Show.
