I have had a great experience working with California Closets from inquiry/design through final installation - professional, creative, and flexible - just what I needed. I got started dealing with a small condo with a closet with old angles - I wanted to redo the closet to better use what space and decided that I needed help from a professional to maximize storage and organization. I visited the showroom in Berkeley to get an idea of what products offered looked like in person and based on what I saw went ahead and set up an appointment for a home consultation. Jessica came to my place, accommodating my crazy work schedule, and we were able to talk about my needs while looking at the closet that needed work. After taking measurements and looking through the catalog - within 10 minutes, she had put together a 3-D computer model of what my closet could look like - and well within the budget I had anticipated. Following that consultation, I identified another shelving project that I wanted to get done and after sending Jessica the measurements, she designed a unit that was not only functional (with shelves and cabinets), but looked really good in the drawings. Deciding to move forward on the installation, was very impressed that the final project exceeded my mental picture of what the units would look like.Installation was very effecient and of the highest quality - Dany arrived promptly per the scheduled appointment time and went to work immedietely - within a few hours, both projects were complete. I was not only pleased with the final product, but if I had not been there, I wouldn't even know anyone had been in my place - minus the new units installed - Dany was very respectful and went above and beyond to clean up any trace of the install. My favorite California Closet product is the Lago collection. It has a very sophisticated look that appeals to a wide variety of people. I also like adding a punch of color by using one of our Ecoresin or Italian glass inserts.
