What She Wanted
When Heather Mah downsized from her 4700-square-foot home to a 1700-square-foot condo, she wanted to make the most of her significantly smaller space. When it came to addressing the pantry, Heather enlisted California Closets Vancouver design consultant Emma Beaty to come up with a clean and stylish solution for optimizing every square inch.
How we did it
After touring the California Closets showroom together, Emma visited Heather’s home to take measurements, inventory, and photos to create a color palette for the condo’s custom pantry. Emma then presented a comprehensive design plan to accommodate all of Heather’s food items, appliances, and baking essentials. To give Heather display and storage options, Emma included both closed and open adjustable shelving to offer added flexibility. She also designed designated storage for Heather’s wine collection and incorporated puck lighting overhead, tastefully enhancing the space, while increasing visibility.
