I’ll admit it… I should have listened to my parents sooner. They both told me from a very young age that I should be a designer. After all, I rearranged the furniture in my bedroom at least once a year and repainted it a half dozen times before heading off to university where I then proceeded to style and accessorize the dorm rooms of anyone who would let me. Hours spent sitting on the floor with my father, looking over giant blue prints (when they actually were blue) of the construction projects he was working on, taught me how to see space in both a creative and functional way. So, after a decade-long career in marketing and communications, I decided to listen to my parents and follow my passion into the interior design industry. I’ve never looked back! As a Design Consultant at California Closets I have the pleasure of working with my clients to create spaces that maximize square footage, provide huge amounts of storage, and add a healthy dose of style and beauty into their homes. I love to provide real solutions for my clients that have an immediate impact on their lives, both functionally and aesthetically.
