The Lees had just sold their home in the suburbs and bought a condo in Olympic Village, a very up-and-coming neighborhood in Vancouver. Since they were downsizing from a large house, getting all of their things organized and making the best possible use of their new space was a top priority—as was creating a modern media area that would perfectly fit the design of their new home.
All staff was very professional and knowledgeable. The showroom was well laid out, attractive and made it easy to visualize the finished product.
Since the Lees are very design savvy, design consultant Tara Blanchet was willing to take a chance in proposing a modern aesthetic. For the closets, she focused on function by incorporating organizational accessories, but the media center was a total showpiece. On-trend elements like high-gloss fronts in Smoke and Champagne, along with glass shelving, made the unit pop.
My favorite part of the final design is how the television is hidden in plain sight. A large Black acrylic panel allows the TV to blend in – especially when it’s off – which is exactly what my clients were hoping for.
The media unit was beyond the Lees' expectations - they loved the very modern - but functional - look.
