Our Story
Calfornia Closets Montreal is owned by the dynamic duo, Mitchell and Lianne Deckelbaum. Mitchell was born in Montreal and grew up in Florida, moved back to Montreal when he met Lianne. When the store first opened, Lianne had just given birth to her first daughter, and she would be in the store every day with the newborn as she advised clients with their organisational challenges!

As a family-owned and operated business, our customers have become part of our extended family. We love following you through all of the steps, from young couples creating nursery rooms to empty-nesters transforming kids rooms into home offices, or getting started on that craft room or custom garage they've always wanted -- but never had the time to complete.
California Closets, Supporting Montreal Charities
We are involved in numerous activities and charities in the community, working with Habitat for Humanity, as well as local endeavours geared towards women shelters and children associations.
For the past four years, we have been a part of the CHEO dream home lottery. We have also worked with Bruce House (an AIDS hospice), and continue to support many local fundraising events.
