Anna loves a good organizational challenge. As a design consultant, Anna facilitates a wide range of storage designs for clutter-crazed clients. It doesn't matter how big or small the project may be, Anna takes the time to assess the unique needs, desires, and aesthetic preferences of every one of her clients. Where others encounter design flaws, Anna recognizes an opportunity to create innovative solutions.
Anna's educational background includes a thorough understanding of design, design theory and design builds. Having studied in several cities, from Los Angeles to Boston to Honolulu, Anna describes herself as an academic nomad. "To me, the greatest thing about learning in a new place is seeing a variety of different perspectives not only in design, but also in people’s lives." When it comes to continuing her education, Anna takes a hands-on approached. Anna recently completed a course on Industrial Woodworking and has spent the past year and a half designing and building her own furniture. "I think that understanding how to build is extremely important for a designer."
Born in Europe, but raised in Bloor West Village, Anna is an avid traveller. In fact, she now calls a number of different places across North America "home" simply due to the relationships that she's built over the years. Anna admits that her constant moving is likely what led her to really appreciate the concept of organized storage. "I remember when the realization hit me that, for the first time in 5 years, all my stuff was in one city – it was a truly bizarre feeling!" As such, Anna has become more sensitive to the unique lifestyle and organizational needs of individuals. She understands that every person leads a unique lifestyle, which affects the ways in which they organize and enjoy their Toronto home.
Outside of design, Anna is a competitive swimmer and eternal optimist. She believes wholeheartedly in living a healthy and active lifestyle, and makes a conscious effort to always maintain a positive attitude.
