Strong and Experienced Leadership
Harvey Feder and Dan Shapiro have owned the business together for 17 years -- and the friendship goes back much further than that. They worked together in retail businesses going back to the 1970’s. Harvey started as part of the California Closets corporate team, working in operations for three years prior to buying the franchise.
Both Harvey and Dan have a lot of pride in owning this California Closets franchise. They are proud of the company, the brand, and the great team of people they have assembled.

California Closets, an Active Member of Your NY Community
Every 18 months or so, California Closets Westbury participates in what is called the "Mansions and Millionaires Show House." It is a by-invitation-only designer showcase house, where designers are given rooms within a mansion to refurbish. We do closets (surprise!) within each room, and the public can view the results for about 8-9 weeks. The best part? The event raises money for different charities every year.
We have also, over the years, been involved with the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, and have designed and installed major projects in schools within Nassau County.
