The First Showroom
Did you know? California Closets was one of the first to open a retail showroom in Canada, which we did in the summer of 1994. Our showroom is a must-stop for both retail clientele and interior designers looking into the latest trends in closet organizing.
The most unique aspect of our showroom is our vast array and selection of available retail merchandise. Among the useful items are organizers for jewelry, make-up, and working desks, as well as an extensive collection of hangers in about 50 different styles to match everyone’s needs, aesthetics, and budget.
Our Story
Calfornia Closets Montreal is owned by the dynamic duo, Mitchell and Lianne Deckelbaum. Mitchell was born in Montreal and grew up in Florida, moved back to Montreal when he met Lianne. When the store first opened, Lianne had just given birth to her first daughter, and she would be in the store every day with the newborn as she advised clients with their organisational challenges!

We love following you through all of the steps, from young couples creating nursery rooms to empty-nesters transforming kids rooms into home offices, or getting started on that craft room or custom garage they've always wanted -- but never had the time to complete.
