Welcome to California Closets Lake Oswego

For over a quarter of a century (26 years!), California Closets Lake Oswego has been providing Oregon residents with the best personalized closets and storage solutions for their home. Our customers receive the premium service and quality products that come standard with the California Closets name.

We are known particularly for high quality cabinet construction, and the amount of time we spend with our customers during design appointments, making sure their closet or storage system is exactly what they want and need.

See Designs Come to Life in Our Portland Showroom

Our showroom is simply drop dead gorgeous. It’s located in a historic building in the heart of the Central Eastside Design District of Portland.

Come see us!

In addition to displaying the latest storage tools and accessories, the showroom gives you the opportunity to see our closet solutions as they appear in a real home. Visit the showroom for divine home inspiration, and be courteously assisted by one of our qualified showroom associates. You can also speak with a design consultant about your needs.

A Unified Team, With Years of Experience

Our franchise has been family-owned and operated since Larry opened shop in 1984, bringing with him experience in home building and sales. Judy joined six years later. Want to meet the rest of the family?

Bob, our production manager, worked for a high end cabinet company. One of our designers, Laurie, designer, owned her own remodeling company, and Bob has a background in kitchen-bath design. Mary was a designer in the real estate and building industry before joining California Closets. And Chris, our shop foreman, came all the way from Hawaii, where he gained firsthand experience in the closet industry.

Our "family" is an incredible group of expertly trained professionals, with in-depth knowledge of storage efficiency techniques and design. You will be surprised with how well they will be able to turn your ideas into a unique storage solution.

Delight' is Part of Our Motto

We have the capability to do almost anything. We work as a team to overcome challenges. Our mission is A Delighted Customer for Life – so if there’s something that someone wants done that we feel we cannot guarantee for life – we politely walk away from it – rather than try to do something that is not within our scope of work.

A Local Business and Active Neighbor

All of our products are locally manufactured, in the 8,000 square foot  production shop in Tualatin.

Additionally, we are involved in Dining for Women, a national women’s fundraising group for third world women’s empowerment and educational programs, hosting the monthly meeting several times per year in our showroom. We also use our showroom for Chamber of Commerce events, architect meetings, interior designer meetings, as well as a variety of non-profit events.

For instance, in March 2010 we hosted a fundraiser/fashion show for MIKE Project; we've also hosted a fundraiser for the Itafari Program and for DonorsResource.org. In fact, any event hosted in our showroom venue must have a charitable contribution as part of it.

Keeping Our Knowledge Fresh

California Closets Lake Oswego is a member of the Northwest Society of Interior Designers. This year we also participated in the Better Living Show – a showcase for sustainable products & businesses.
