The California Closets Ronkonkoma Story
Ronkonkoma opened its doors in August 1985 -- over 25 years ago! During that very same weekend, Hurricane Gloria hit Long Island, shutting everything down for weeks! Everything closed down for weeks, so we had everything e-routed to our home phones and worked from there. We were able to make sales but had to delay installations. Still, it was better than nothing, and was a great lesson in working through major obstacles.
Since that time, we (Vera and Anthony DeVincenzo) have taken on several roles for our business, depending on how it fit in with our family's needs and lifestyle. Throughout it all, we've always kept our customers front of mind, and are pleased to be able to offer all and anything that the California Closet brand represents.
