After discussing your lifestyle and needs during the complimentary consultation, your Design Consultant will help you assess what's important to you and how to create the best use of your space. Now the fun begins!

During the consultation, we'll use a number of tools so you can visualize various options for your new space. Your Design Consultant will also take accurate measurements during the consultation – which is key to a functional, flawless space. Put away your tape measure. We do it all for you!

Your Design Consultant will work within your budget to create a unique solution for you. The cost of your project depends on the materials you choose, the components included in the design, and the size of your installation.

Once you approve your design, we'll tell you how to prepare for your installation and what to expect. Installation will occur with minimal disruption to your home and your life. Once complete, your Design Consultant will follow up and review the work to make sure it's completed to your specifications and that you are thrilled with the results.

Q: Can you work with any budget?
A: California Closets solutions are now more affordable than ever. The materials and accessories you select, the finishes of your design – even your location – all factor into the cost. We’ll work within your budget to find the right solution for you.

Q: How long does it take?
A: Our first step is to create the right design for your space. If your project is fairly straightforward, we can often go from design to installation in as little as 10 days. If your project is more complex, it may take several weeks to assemble the materials necessary to install your solution. In either case, most of our projects install in the home in one day, so that you can easily fit our installation time into your schedule.

Q: How flexible is the solution if my needs change?
A: We understand that you may get a new TV, more ties, or the latest series of best sellers. That’s why our solutions are designed so that you can easily rearrange the elements to reconfigure your space based on changing needs.

Q: How can I prepare for installation?
A: We’ll schedule a time to install your customized solution that’s convenient for you and poses minimal disruption to your home. Your Design Consultant will explain the process of removing your possessions from the area and will go over any needs for repainting or any other services in which California Closets can assist.
