A word from Rustin on how the winning Design came together:
"Our main objective with this Bookcase design was to create a modern look with a realistic grain effect. We accomplished this by utilizing the nickel plated bar handles to compliment the straight modern lines of the lower cabinets and file drawers. The backed upper bookcase is contrasted by an Ebony countertop, The LAGO and Artika Ebony finishes have an embossed "ticking" texture that imparts the realistic grain effect we were looking for."
"The overhang top shelf lighting with nickel plated puck lights illuminates the bookcase and the valance with modern crown molding that extends to the ceiling to finish off this piece. A rocker switch is inconspicuously placed for on/off control as well as a remote dimmer."
"One of our obstacles was to provide shelf adjustability without being able to see the adjustable shelf holes, we accomplished this with dedicated 3mm hole drilling for minimal adjustability and visibility."
"Zach is a loyal California Closets customer of mine. Each project has presented its own set of unique challenges, so I knew, when this project came up for him, he was going to want to do some creative things. Like any design, I try to discover what is in my clients mind and bring what they're visualizing to life. Zach always has really good cutting edge ideas and as with every project, we always seem to be doing something new."

Comments from Rustin's Client:
"Being a new construction home, the office was a blank slate without an ounce of creativity. I had a vision for wall to wall, floor to ceiling shelving, cabinetry, countertop and some type of lighting at the top to bring it all together. Rustin and I worked together to bring this vision to life."
"The office now serves its intended purpose; a place to work, store, print, file, and last but not least, personality now exists in a previously nondescript room."
"Rustin and I make a great team. This was our 5th project together and the 2nd home he has helped me with. The Install process was completely smooth from start to finish. Hence why this was my 5th project with California Closets! Will I refer California Closets to Family and Friends in the future? Absolutely. I have before and will again in the future."
