We have been serving Brooklyn for nearly two decades! We (Harvey Feder and Dan Shapiro) have owned the business together for 17 years -- and our friendship goes back much further than that. California Closets believes in being a good neighbor: Every 18 months or so, we participate in what is called the "Mansions and Millionaires Show House." It is a by-invitation-only designer showcase house, where designers are given rooms within a mansion to refurbish, and we contribute closet organizers. The event raises money for different charities every year. We have also, over the years, been involved with the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, and have designed and installed major projects in schools within Nassau County.
