Milan, Day 2: Perfect Designs for Books & More

I've been snapping pictures since I got to the Milan Furniture Fair on Wednesday.  We've spent most of our time checking out the contemporary designs.

In looking back over these photos, I've noticed how much I love the library designs! The media centers and display shelves from the contemporary designers are eye-catching as well.

Take a look:

Bookshelves with creme and black

Couldn't you just spend hours in this sleek, elegant library?

White modern shelves are offset by bright blue furniture.

The dark wood finish creates a warm, rustic feel.

A variety of depth and color draws your eye into this modern wall unit.

Notice the varying heights of the shelves - simple, but adds a lot of interest.

Dark wood shelving brightened considerably with strip lighting.

Whites and neutral tones are very popular at the fair this year.
