Soles4Souls Shoe Drive

Footwear… it is a basic need that most of us take for granted every day.  While most of the world does not have one adequate pair of shoes, over 1.5 billion pairs of shoes lay idle in American closets.

For us, comfort and style are the primary reasons for the footwear we select.  For those without shoes the healthcare benefits is the most urgent reason footwear is so desperately needed.  A quality pair of shoes protects their feet from scrapes, cuts and contaminants that lead to potentially serious healthcare issues.

California Closets Albany/Syracuse will be collecting gently worn shoes on behalf of Soles4Souls at our Albany and Syracuse locations from November 14th through December 10th.  Every donation supports the charities initiative to distribute shoes to needy people around the world, who will treasure the gift for years to come.
